Thanksgiving Meal

Hey everyone,

Just a reminder that we will be meeting at the church @ 5pm this Wednesday. We will then head over to Solid Rock church on Ward to help serve the Thanksgiving meal for the homeless. We will be doing this instead of going under the bridge.

Also, we will be starting our series on world religions November 28th. We will be taking a look at the major religions in our community and throughout the world.

Youth Group NOT at Cafe Cafe

Cafe Cafe went out of business... Therefore we will be having youth group at the church. We will be in the coffee shop so bring a dollar for any drink you want (hot coffee, iced coffee, pop, italian soda, hot chocolate). We will be meeting at the normal time. Let me know if you have any questions.

Youth Group at Cafe Cafe

Hey everyone,

Youth group is at Cafe Cafe coffee shop tonight. We will be meeting at the church between 6:30 and 6:45 for anyone who will want a ride, otherwise we will be at Cafe Cafe at 7:00 (it is next to shopko and winco off Lancaster).

What Do You Think?

Alright, there have been some requests for an early morning Bible Study during the school year. Since we have nearly every high school in the district represented in the youth group, we would need a central place to meet. The idea on the table is now is that we could meet at the coffee shop at the church.

This will be a more intensive Bible Study than we do on Wednesday nights. As a group we will be taking a look at whatever book I am studying in Seminary. The goal would be to completely dissect the book before moving on to the next.

We would obviously be able to have coffee as well and I think we could make it at no charge... We would meet from 6-7, 615-715, or 630-730. I need people to let me know if this is something you would be interested in, if the coffee shop is a good place, and what time works best for everyone. Either leave a comment, email, or call.

We will be meeting at the church at 5:00 pm or under the bridge at 5:30. If you aren't able to make it to help feed the homeless, join us at 6:45 @ Riverfront park for ultimate Frisbee and a short study. Youth Group Wednesday Night!!

Hey!

The starbucks where the students will be meeting on Wednesday (see blog below) is right next to Toys R Us on Lancaster...

No Youth Group August 1st

Just a reminder that we will not be having youth group on Wednesday, August 1st. There are some students that will still be meeting that evening at the Starbucks near the Lancaster Mall (not in the mall) @7pm.

The next youth group will be Wednesday, August 8th here at the church @ 7pm. Look forward to seeing you then! Have a great week.

Youth Group Under the Bridge

Hey everyone,

We will be meeting at the church at 5 or under the bridge at 5:30 for youth group. After we are done serving the meal we are going to head over to a new coffee shop called Cafe Cafe. It is located in the new complex off Lancaster, near Winco and Shopko. Let me know if you need directions for any reason.

Pray for Jordan's Family

Hey,

I just wanted to ask you all to be praying for Jordan's family. She has been Colorado the past month visiting her grandparents. They were supposed to come home today (I think), but her dad passed away yesterday and their plans changed. He has been sick for a while and it was finally too much. He had an opportunity to visit his parents before it happened and I am sure they are thankful for that.

If you could all keep Jordan and her whole family in your prayers I know they would all appreciate it. I know that you will all want to talk to her and help provide comfort, but right now prayer is what she is asking for.

Wild Waves Amusement Park

We will be going to Wild Waves Amusement Park on Wednesday, July 25th. Details will come shortly, but you all should plan on attending because it will be crazy fun!

Silverwood/Creation Trip Canceled

I am sad to announce that our trip to Silverwood and Creation NW will be canceled. We will still be doing something that week that will be much more cost effective. More info to come!
